Content Guidelines

These policies are intended to promote the integrity of our Private Member Websites and all other relevant services provided by Scush Inc. ("Website"). This policy, any agreement pursuant to which you use our server-based services, and the Terms And Conditions for use of our Website together govern your access to and use of our services. If you do not accept this policy, you may not access or use any of our services. We retain the right to modify this policy at any time by posting the modified policy on our Website.

General Guidelines

Always:

  • Respect others.
  • Keep documents, discussion posts, and other content on-topic; start or request a new topic in the relevant area as appropriate.
  • Discuss issues, not personalities.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not tolerated on our Website:

  • Racism, bigotry, intolerance, harassment, threats, advocating violence, personal attacks.
  • Obscenities, objectionable content, content harmful to minors.
  • Repetitive submissions from a single user.
  • Content in violation of federal, provincial, or state law.
  • Content infringing intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
  • Content of a commercial or advertising nature except in designated areas.
  • SHOUTING IN ALL UPPERCASE.

Prohibited Advertising

The following types of advertising are not tolerated on our Website:

  • Ads that do not conform to the Content Policies.
  • Ads that attempt to deceptively or maliciously transfer software or data.
  • Ads that pop-up, pop-under, or otherwise leave the main Website window.

Consequences of Prohibited Use

We reserve the right to take any and all action we deem appropriate if we become aware of content or conduct that we believe does not conform to the requirements of this policy, any agreement pursuant to which you use our services, the Terms And Conditions for use of this Website, or applicable law.

Standard actions may include a public or private warning, as applicable, a temporary restriction or "time out" from the Website, an immediate banning or termination of your account, any combination thereof, or any other action as we deem appropriate. If, over a period of time, we determine that your contributions to this Website are, as a whole, negative and undermining, your account may be terminated at our sole discretion.
